About World Trademark Search

World Trademark Search aggregates two government-published trademark registers and exposes every mark on its own indexable page:

• USPTO: ~10 million marks filed with the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Data via the daily Trademark Bulk Data product.
• EUIPO: ~3 million marks registered through the European Union Intellectual Property Office. Data via the EUIPO Open Data Portal.

Together that's approximately 12.6 million trademark records covering both jurisdictions where most commercially relevant marks are protected.

• Not an official register. The authoritative records live at tmsearch.uspto.gov and TMView. Where our data differs from those, theirs is correct.
• Not a filing service. We don't accept applications or charge fees. To file a trademark, go to USPTO or EUIPO directly.
• Not legal advice. The presence or absence of a similar mark on this site is not a substitute for clearance work by a qualified trademark attorney.
• Not WIPO Madrid coverage (yet). We currently only cover marks held in the US or EU registers. Madrid Protocol designations into either jurisdiction do appear (they flow through to USPTO/EUIPO). Marks held only in Japan/China/Korea/etc. via Madrid are not yet included.

All trademark data comes from public, freely-redistributable sources:

• USPTO Trademark Bulk Data - public domain (US federal work), refreshed daily
• EUIPO Open Data Portal - Creative Commons CC-BY 4.0, refreshed weekly

Spotted something wrong on this site? Email contact@worldtrademarksearch.com. Verified display issues are corrected the same week. For changes to the underlying register (your mark's status, owner details, classification), file with USPTO or EUIPO directly - our regular refresh picks up corrections automatically.
